You lent your mate $500. That was four months ago.

You're not going to ask again. So you carry it around in your head, and it quietly becomes a gift. We're building something that does the remembering — and the asking — for you.

Why this keeps happening

It's not the money, it's the asking

Most people never chase it. Bringing it up feels like saying you don't trust them — so the debt just sits there, and so does the resentment.

Nobody writes it down

A bank transfer with a one-word description, a text, a vague memory of a number. Six weeks later you're not certain whether it was $200 or $250, so you say nothing.

The relationship pays for it

The awkwardness doesn't stay in the loan. It shows up the next time they suggest dinner, and the next time they ask.

What we'd build

Only if enough people say they want it. Here's the shape of it.

  1. 1

Write it down when you hand it over

Who, how much, and when you'd like it back. Ten seconds, while it's still a normal conversation.

  2. 2

    We do the reminding

A polite nudge goes to them, not from you. You never have to be the one who brings it up.

  3. 3

    It closes properly

Paid back, written off, or renegotiated — but decided, instead of hanging there forever.

Fair questions

Isn't this a bit cold for friends and family?
That's exactly what we're testing. Our hunch is the opposite — that writing it down early is what keeps it friendly, because nobody has to guess or accuse later. If you think we're wrong, tell us when you sign up.
Does this exist yet?
No. There's no app, no login, nothing to download. This page is us checking whether enough people feel this before we build it. If they don't, we won't.
What happens when I join?
You get one email confirming you're on the list, and an email when there's something real to try. That's it. No selling, and unsubscribe any time.
